According to the Hong Kong media, “good friends” Denise Ho and Joey Yung have parted ways and that each had found her own partner.

Denise and Joey were rumoured to be dating each other for years, but had reportedly split recently because of the gap in their career achievements. Joey was also said to be still interested in the opposite sex.

Two years ago, Joey’s mother introduced Jeffrey, a 36-year-old finance specialist, to the singer.

Jeffrey reportedly professed his love for Joey recently. Last October, the pair went on a date for the first time. Then, Joey informed Denise of the date, but the latter showed indifference towards the news.

Later, Denise became involved with a musical Jia Baoyu. According to an insider, the singer grew close to her co-star Jozie Lu. The pair will tour China this March and will spend six months together.

Joey was said to have initiated the split because of this, and had even said, “Women cannot be trusted too.”

Recently, it was rumoured that Joey did not know Jeffrey at all.

Instead, it was Heison, a 30-year-old director, who had directed some of Joey’s music videos, who is actively courting the singer.

The pair had been spotted dining together and had flirted through their microblogs.

When the media interviewed Heison over the phone and asked if he was dating Joey, Heison said, “We’re all friends. I’m not courting her.”

Joey’s manager also said that she did not know if Joey is in a new relationship, adding that Denise and Joey had always been friends.... READ MORE

Shu Qi feels character vicious, gentle and sexy all in one 2012

The Gordon Chan Ka Seung produced, Carol Lai Miu Shuet directed, Shu Qi and Shawn Yue Man Lok starred romantic thriller THE SECOND WOMAN (CHING MAI) will be released on March 8. Shu Qi in the film played two characters, a pair of twins who both fell for Yue Man Lok and into a immoral love triangle. Shu Qi in the film was vicious, gentle and sexy all in one. Earlier she admitted that making THE SECOND WOMAN absolutely was not easy, for a period she could not pull herself out.

Shu Qi earlier posted a “shedding tear” photo online. She thought that eyes that were swollen from crying looked great. She said, “Eye drops can be used in crying scenes! Yet it has no way to reach the condition of red eyes and nose, so I still cry on my own.” In the film she played twin sisters who both fell for Yue Man Lok’s stage actor. She admitted that both characters tragically tortured her, as the older sister’s voice and tone would come out suddenly through the younger sister. She could only discuss with the director to first finish one before shooting the other. Otherwise she could not perform.

Shu Qi is a Golden Horse Award winning Best Actress and made many outstanding films. She pointed out that now good characters are fun characters. She would not deliberately think of any hardship or challenge for herself. Instead she wanted to play, so her movies did not have to be high technical.... READ MORE

K-pop targeting American market on 2012

K-pop targeting American market on 2012
lifestyle,lifes,women,scandals,celebritys,artist,wife,family,politicians,married,bisnis,onlines,vids,pics,magazine,arts

K-pop stars have proven their influence in Asia — most of them taking their first steps entering the Japanese pop music scene.

Encouraged by the success in the neighboring country, the agencies — SM, JYP, and YG — are looking to the United States. Or rather, the agencies are once again eying the American market.

Surely, there exists a teen-driven market for stars like Justin Bieber and Senela Gomez. Still, even that niche is difficult to crack into, as seen in the case of BoA of SM and Wonder Girls of JYP. Yet the failed attempts are not stopping the star makers who are preparing to play the American game once again this year.

BoA pioneered the exporting of home-bred artists in 2001 with the Japanese version of her debut album “ID Peace B.” It took her a while to become a star in the island nation -she spent most of her career in Japan much to the Korean fans’ despair. SM tried to make BoA a star in America in 2009 with the album “Eat You Up.” Though the press and the agency hyped things up for the album and the music video’s release, the talk died down quietly — whether BoA was even noticed is questionable.

SM recently flaunted that Girls’ Generation got on the plane Monday to meet with multiple press like the Associated Press and E in America.

The group will appear on the “Late Show with David Letterman” at 1:35 p.m. today (KST) as well as “LIVE! with Kelly” at 11 p.m.
Though Girls’ Generation has been successful at translating the catchiness of their songs in Japanese versions, the English versions of their songs are ambiguous like the line in their title track, “The Boys,” which goes “Call all emergency; I’m watching the phone ring.”

The album ranked 22nd out of 25 albums on the Heatseekers Album chart on Billboard.

JYP, led by singer-songwriter Park Jin-young, has been channeling its American dream into the five-member Wonder Girls. Yet, the group’s ability to succeed in America is still dubious. In November, the artists came back to Korea briefly to release their official second album “Wonder World.” On various talk shows, the members confessed difficulty in learning English.

But the group is knocking on the door of the U.S. market once again. The group’s made-for-TV movie “The Wonder Girls” will premier on Feb. 2 on Teen Nick, a channel for teens. The movie will star a local girl group School Gyrl who also debuted with a movie on Nickelodeon, a TV channel for children. Little is known about School Gyrl outside their appearance on Nickelodeon.

Popular culture critic and professor at Kyonggi University, Jin Jong-hoon, told The Korea Times that K-pop is neglecting great marketing channels — global firms like Samsung and Hyundai are ubiquitous in America.

“K-pop artists can act as the promotional faces for global firms to benefit from collaboration,” Jin said. “Many people are well-aware of the products of such companies but honestly some are still confused whether they are Korean or Japanese.” By featuring in advertisements or campaigns with corporations who already aggressively target the United States, Jin believes K-pop artists can effectively approach the American audience.

Jin admits that K-pop artists are not likely to join the mainstream U.S. music scene. However, he believes K-pop can appeal to specific listeners who are seeking for alternatives similar to their performance in Europe. “K-pop will most likely be received as a temporary uniqueness.” According to Jin, to influence a culture, a newcomer must present advanced content and whether K-pop can offer that to American culture is questionable

Jung Duk-hyun, a culture critic, thinks music agencies’ efforts to tackle the global market deserve credit. “J-pop quickly demised because its suppliers relied on the domestic market. Japan has a substantial market already that the producers only target Japan.
However, makers of K-pop, well aware of the limited domestic consumption, have their eyes on the international market when they produce the songs and choreograph the dances. ”

Jung, like Jin, doesn’t believe that K-pop will become the next big sensation in America. “The artists are particularly well received in Southeast Asia because they are considered cultural products from ‘more developed’ countries, but this will not be the reaction in America.”... READ MORE

READ MORE

Top 5 Best-Dressed Fashion SAG Awards Red Carpet 2012

Top 5 Best-Dressed Fashion SAG Awards Red Carpet 2012

The 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night, and as with other award shows, the stars were out on the red carpet, which means we have plenty of fabulous fashion to discuss! Scroll on down to scope out some of the most notable looks from the event:

Michelle Williams in Valentino

Photo: PR Photos
Michelle Williams always rocks demure, vintage-inspired frocks and last night was no exception. Her classic red Valentino gown was adorned with feminine lace detailing and Michelle added some red sandals and a crimson box clutch. What did you think of her head-to-toe red look?

Shailene Woodley in L’Wren Scott

Photo: PR Photos
The SAG Awards are more laid back than the Golden Globes or Oscars, so I love that The Descendants’ Shailene Woodley chose to wear this really fun, young, and colorful L’Wren Scott gown. The Hawaiian-like print seemed to be a nod to her film’s setting and the baby blue hue with pops of red made a statement. Shailene kept her hair and makeup low-key, in order to let the dress be the focus.

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji

Photo: PR Photos
SAG Award winner Octavia Spencer was one of the first stars I saw on the red carpet last night, but I kept thinking about her silver Tadashi Shoji gown the entire time! The shimmery dress had a great mix of textures — a delicate floral-applique top and super-flattering, silky wrap skirt. Octavia also sported a sleek updo, which really showcased her lovely statement earrings.

Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen

Photo: PR Photos
Emma Stone killed it fashion-wise at the Golden Globes a few weeks ago and she once again looked amazing at last night’s ceremony. Her tea-length Alexander McQueen dress channeled Old Hollywood, while the sky-high ankle strap pumps and gold-handled clutch kept the look modern and youthful. Can this girl do no wrong?!

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Couture

Photo: PR Photos
This little number from the Givenchy Spring ’12 couture collection had a lot of fashion commentators on the fence, but I for one was in love with this dress. The gown has a kind of edgy-meets-glam vibe and while not everyone could pull off what is essentially a white tank under a mesh top, Zoe did it flawlessly.

Welcome to awards show season, CF readers! For the next full month, we’ll be recapping all of the major red carpet events — the SAG Awards, the Grammys and — of course – the Academy Awards. We’re kicking things off with a fashion recap of last night’s Golden Globe Awards. Scroll on to check out our favorite looks from last night:

Nicole Richie in Julien Macdonald

Photo: PR Photos
Presenter Nicole Richie donned a slinky, floor-skimming Julien Macdonald number at the Globes this year. Her super-shiny metallic gown looked lovely on the red carpet and Nicole completed her look with a voluminous, ’60s-esque ponytail, vintage earrings and accessories from her House of Harlow 1960 line.

Claire Danes in J. Mendel

Photo: PR Photos
Last night Claire Danes rocked a J. Mendel gown that was meant to be viewed from behind.  While the front her dress was a little tame, the gorgeous cut-out back skyrocketed it to the top of my list. The sparkly sequined detailing made this gown a true standout on the red carpet.

Emma Stone in Lanvin

Photo: ELLE
Disclaimer: I have a HUGE girl crush on Emma Stone, however, I don’t think that it influenced my decision to include her on best-dressed list. In fact, I would have loved this Lanvin gown on anyone, but the fact that Emma wore it made it all the more perfect. The luxe velvet, burgundy hues mixed with fuchsia, and eagle-adorned belt all made this frock a winner in my book.

Charlize Theron in Dior Couture

Photo: ELLE
Charlize proved that it definitely pays to be Dior’s spokesperson by wearing a beautiful couture gown created by the design house. Her pale pink ’20s-style gown featured a deep, plunging neckline and sculptural bustle, and she completed her look with a side-swept updo adorned with a jeweled headband.

Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci Premiere

Photo: ELLE
Every red carpet needs a little extravagance, so I was happy to see Evan Rachel Wood rocking this couture gown at the Globes last night. This sequined and feather-adorned Gucci gown exuded Old Hollywood glamour with a modern twist. Texturally, it looks amazing and I really loved the gradient of dark green shades. What did you think of Evan’s look?

Kim Kardashian Tricks and Secrets Makeup Finally Revealed

Kim Kardashian Tricks and Secrets Makeup Finally Revealed

Kardashian disclosed her makeup tricks and secrets on her blog. Discover below what products Kim always uses for her photo finish look!

Kim Kardashian said, “I always start with a fresh face. Then I put on Intuit ‘Photo Shoot.’ Basically Intuit is a big company and I love the names of their products. Its Photo Shoot is a make up primer. After my moisturizer, I put it on, which basically is like a moisturizer that will fill the pours on your face and it will help to set the foundation so it will last longer.

Further I use “Cle De Peau concealer stick”, its super expensive, but works for me. This stick comes in two colors; I use Ocre, which is the darker of the two. And I also use “M.A.C.” concealer which comes in a little pot, condition I do not have “Cle de Peau”. Naturally, everyone’s color is different but I use NW25. First, I put the concealer under my eyes because I completely hate dark circles. Then I also use concealer to cover up blemishes!

After that, I put on “Make up Forever’s liquid foundation”. For that, I mix one pump of No. 5 and two pumps of No. 4. Yet I also have No. 3 for the winter time when I am really pale. So I mix the foundations to get the perfect color. Then I blend them with the coolest make up M.A.C. brush No. 180.

As I already said that I hate dark circles, so after the foundation, I put on a little more concealer just under my eyes since the foundation makes it darker under my eyes. Usually, I use a lighter concealer from “M.A.C. NW30” in a little lipstick tube-looking container and I select ‘moisture cover’ as well. At next, I lightly brush on with a big powder brush M.A.C to set the foundation. I used to select “Sheer Pressed Powder NC 30”, then to make me a little tanner I lightly brush on “M.A.C. Powder NW 45”.

At this moment, it’s blush time. I tell you that I’m obsessed with blush. For blush, I use a color called “Gingerly” to warm me up and give me a little color and then add a pink color called “Cheek” to give me rosy cheeks. Then I just started getting into cream blush and find it works a lot better and last longer.

Now it’s Time for the eyes, my favorite part of makeup. At first, I put down a “M.A.C”. Then I paint pot in a light color that matches my skin called “Painterly”. The creamy shadow makes it so that the powder eye shadow does not wrinkle. Resembling, if you wear make up all day you will see that the eye shadow begins to wrinkle and get oily, but if you put this paint color down first it won’t do so. That’s the reason I love cream shadow and use the color cream pots as well. also I love colored shadow; so it depends on the color depend of shadow I plan to wear: condition it’s black smoky I use Carbon by M.A.C.; and if its Grey smoky I use Knight Divine or Print; and if it’s brown smoky I use Embark by M.A.C. thus I love a fresh shimmery look as well and use “M.A.C. Pigment” called “Tan”. Believe me! It’s so pretty and I love bright colors for eye make up. With all that, I always use black pencil eyeliner and my favorite is “Stila black pencil”.

It’s mascara time. I just put on mascara completes the look, but I have it when I mess up and get it on my eye lid and mess up the eye shadow. For that, I used to use “Lancôme Hypnoses”, and still do. But I recently started to use “M.A.C. Zoom mascara” which is amazing. For mascara, I take my time and put coat after coat because I love to layer mascaras so I will probably start with the” M.A.C. Zoom” and then put” Lancôme Hypnoses” on top. To apply that properly, I always use a separator brush to separate my lashes. As I am completely clueless on how to put false lashes on, so I only wear them for photo shoots occasionally.

Putting lipstick is the final touch, I usually use “M.A.C. Lip liner” called “Stripdown” .I use it very lightly and a lipstick called “Angel” and put “Nars Turkish Delight lip-gloss” on top. For my favorite nude matte lip, I put on “Nars Belle De Jour” and I line my lips first with “M.A.C. Subculture lip liner”.

Resort 2012 collections are being presented in New York this June. These are holiday, party-time clothes and designers feel free to experiment but they also follow the leading trends for 2012.

Resort 2012 fashion trend: batik scarf dresses
The caftan, a holiday signature style, is this summer's ultimate chic sartorial choice so I wonder if these 2012 resort trends will become fashion hits for next summer. What first draw my atention was these batik inspired dresses, actually they look like batik printed scarves stitched together to form a fabulous beach cover-ups. Alberta Ferretti's designs look more like sophisticated city-chic clothes.

Resort 2012 fashion trend: handkerchief hem dresses
The second trend is the uneven handkerchief-hem (or the illusion of it - see BCBG Max Azria design) on a graphic printed frock. They somewhat recall the 1920s - flapper era - flouncing dresses, as you can see for yourself from these pictures of vintage slip-ons. So, what do you think of these new trends?

No Kardashians and no Katy Perry made for a quiet start to 2012 at the People's Choice Awards.

A dressed-down crowd including, Twilight star Robert Pattinson in jeans and Crazy, Stupid, Love's Emma Stone in a t-shirt, skipped the red carpet at the first awards show of the season at the Nokia Theatre in LA.

The awards, which are determined by public votes, were hosted by The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, who got through 27 wardrobe changes after fending off veteran awards show master of ceremonies Neil Patrick Harris, who stormed the stage during the opening to perform a show tune.

Hugh Jackman took out the statuette for the Best Action Movie Star while Ellen DeGeneres was awarded favourite daytime TV host.

Soon after Emma Stone accepted her awards for Favourite Movie Actress and Favourite Comedic Actress, Jim Carrey's ex-wife Jenny McCarthy took to Twitter, "Emma Stone just won a People's Choice Award. I know someone that must be very excited about that" she posted in reference to Carrey declaring his love for the titian haired actress via video message last year.

Katy Perry, who pulled out of appearing, won five of the seven awards she was nominated for including Favourite Female Artist and also took out Favourite TV Guest Star for her cameo appearance in How I Met Your Mother.

Other winners included Glee star Lea Michele, Taylor Swift and the final Harry Potter instalment Part 2: Deathly Hallows won four awards, including Best Movie.

Rihanna trumped her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and close friend Beyonce by taking out the gong for Best R&B Artist while Kim Kardashian took out the award for Favourite Celebreality Star.

Fellow nominee in the same category, Kathy Griffin didn't waste any time with pleasantries telling reporters on the red carpet that Kardashian's ex-husband Kris Humphries will "come back big in 2012 by dating Kendall Jenner."

On the cusp of turning 90, Hot In Cleveland star Betty White lapped up the praise from her celebrity fans all night with a number of A-listers, including Pattinson, lining up to have their photo taken with the veteran actress.

"I didn't do anything. 90 just happens to you," she said as she accepted the award for Favourite Cable TV Comedy.

Country singer Faith Hill and ex-Disney star and Best Pop Artist winner Demi Lovato performed in front of the casually clad crowd.... READ MORE

Featuring Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar 2012
lifestyle,lifes,women,scandals,celebritys,artist,wife,family,politicians,married,bisnis,onlines,vids,pics,magazine,arts

Here is the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar featuring some of the hottest women in the world with a last four months of 2011 year end bonus... The bikinis could be smaller but this calendar is still great and it almost perfectly illustrate how my harem would look like if I had $50 billion sitting in the bank.

Which would certainly not be an European bank after today, Italy is so screwed! We only needed to see one or two more Asian chicks, at least two more Latin plus a Desi and an Arab chick to make this swimsuit calendar perfect. Oh yeah, and a full blood Native American...damn I think we are going to need more months. Anyway, I think you can order a official copy of this Sports Illustrated 2012 Swimsuit Calendar at www.si.com to support the cause because oh God I know gathering a harem like this ain't cheap. Enjoy!
