Priyanka Chopra has finally opened up about the rumors that she's been carrying on an affair with Shahrukh Khan, and it shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone that all the talk of her seducing a married father has left her hurt and angry.

In an interview that first appeared in the Times of India, Priyanka discusses her blooming music career, sounding very much like a little kid at Christmas when it comes to how excited she is to record her own music.

Priyanka sounds very, very sincere when she says of the stories linking her to SRK: "They make me angry and upset me a lot."

Priyanka goes on to state that though the affair rumors so far haven't changed her relationship with Shahrukh, she's afraid that they soon may. She may be right: already Shahrukh's wife, Gauri, is working to freeze Priyanka out of the film industry's busy social scene; and if the affair rumors persist, it likely won't be long before Gauri Khan demands that her husband cease working with Priyanka. Twinkle Khanna demanded the same of her husband, Akshay Kumar, when she felt that he was getting a bit too steamy with Priyanka Chopra after the filming of Aitraaz.

Priyanka also came as close as she ever has to denying that she's having an affair with Shahrukh. "I've always stood up for whatever I do and bear the consequences for it. But when it's not my doing, it makes me angry."

"When it's not of my doing." That sounds very much like Priyanka is claiming that she's done nothing wrong. Reading her interview, it's hard to assume otherwise. Though it's true that she and Shahrukh Khan have a very close relationship, that hardly means that they're in a relationship with each other.

The media backlash against Priyanka has been sharp and swift. Shahrukh is painted as the wholesome family man who was lured away by the seductive actress (a narrative which SRK's fans have had a huge hand in perpetuating). Priyanka seems genuinely grieved about how the rumors might affect her relationship with Shahrukh, but says that so far he has been a good friend despite the media spotlight.

"He's always been kind. I don't think we've changed that much. I'm grateful for that."

Lisa, born to a Bengali father and a Polish mother, has had a successful battle with cancer after she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2009. She announced she was cancer-free in 2010 after a stem cell transplant.

The reality star will appear in the fourth season of drama-comedy 'Drop Dead Diva' - which stars Brooke D'Orsay as a lawyer whose body is inhabited by the soul of a dead supermodel - and will begin production next month.

She is in line play Nikki, who is a love interest for Ben Feldman's alter-ego Fred, and her character is set to go into business with Stacy, who is played by former 'Two and a Half Men' beauty April Bowlby.

Kim wrote on her blog: "I am so excited to announce that I'll be guest starring on 'Drop Dead Diva' this summer. I can't wait to get to work with everyone on set!"

Josh Berman, creator and executive producer of the programme, felt Kim's "humour and passion" made her the right person for the role.

However, the actor seems to have run out of luck and is again being talked about for wrong reasons. She is being accused of confronting Chatwal’s estranged wife Priya Sachdev at his hotel, Dream Downtown, saying with obvious scorn, “You are his wife?”.

According to New York Post, a source said, “Lindsay had been staying at Vikram’s house and even installed her hairdresser in the baby’s room, but was told to leave before his wife arrived from India with the child a few days ago. His father Sant Singh has tried to order Lindsay out numerous times”.

“Lindsay found out Vikram was hosting a dinner at the Dream, and turned up with a friend at the hotel’s Electric Room, waiting for him,” the source said.

“Priya was very dignified, but Lindsay was so rude. She acted as if she’d had no idea Vikram was married, and tried to make it clear that Vikram was her friend. Others had to step in to calm things down,” the source added.

Chatwal married model Priya Sachdev in 2006, but are now separated, but have remained close for their daughter.

THE movement against corruption led by Anna Hazare had the media completely on its side. The agitation, which began with Hazare announcing that he would begin an indefinite hunger strike on April 5 demanding the passage of a people-inspired Lokpal Bill, ended on April 9. The five days of the agitation saw the mass media, especially the new media, in a burst of hyperactivity, making calls to support the cause and “stand with Anna” and posting or forwarding e-mails to spread awareness about the man and his mission. One headline, “India wins again, Anna Hazare calls off fast”, summed up the mood in a section of the media. The support for the “cause” was so loud that any dissenting voice was stifled with the argument that the critic had little knowledge of the “phenomenon” that had been unleashed at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
