Looks like Emma Watson won’t be marrying a prince anytime soon. When asked about Kate Middleton and her upcoming royal nuptials, she called the blushing bride a ‘poor girl.’
Emma Watson has something to say about Kate Middleton’s upcoming royal wedding to Prince William.
Watson, who just turned 21 today, told the Associated Press: "Poor girl, that must be an incredible amount of pressure. I hope she’s enjoying it. Must be intense."
In all truth, Kate Middleton did not grow up expecting to turn into a princess. She has been forced into a celebrity lifestyle since she began dating her prince, and the interest continues to grow as we near the royal wedding date. According to People Magazine, when a local reporter asked Middleton if she was getting nervous, she replied, "Yes, of course I am."
But if anyone knows the pressures of being suddenly thrust into the spotlight it is Emma Watson. She gained fame quickly after being cast at 9 years old as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise. Middleton could take a cue from Watson. Growing up under a microscope is not easy at any age, and Watson handled it gracefully.
Watson has been busy promoting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and plans to return to Brown University in September. She is currently preparing for her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which is set to hit theaters in 2012.
