SEOUL - South Korean pop music popularity, known as K-Pop, turned out to lure Google to take advantage of febrile world of K-Pop is.

One form is Google's launch in YouTube streaming video service for the South Korean pop music, by setting up a special channel on the site.

Launched by Bloomberg on Monday (7/11/2011), the channel on video site free from Google will help spread the "Korean Wave", a term cultural invasion of South Korea to the world, ranging from music, soap operas until Mahwa (Korean manga version) .

Kepastiaan itself obtained after Chairman Eric Schmidt told South Korean President Lee Myung Bak in a meeting in Seoul today. Lee also requested that Google continues to improve cooperative relations with the South.

A new service dedicated to K-Pop will build on the popularity of music and drama that comes from state television, Samsung Electronics Co. and the house where the search engine operator is facing antitrust complaint.

Video boyband and girlband groups like Girls' Generation and Super Junior have produced tens of millions of page view in the entire world on YouTube.
