Shocking accusations were made earlier that former Miss Hong Kong's second runner-up, Noel Leung had been cheating on her husband, Hong Kong actor Gary Chan for a restaurateur named Brian Wong.

Based on TVB News World, Noel stressed that the two were just classmates – treating the false allegations as if it was a joke. Her husband had also responded through a text message sharing that the couple had mutual trust in each other.

Such rumours shocked many artists as Noel had been said to possess a 'good wife' and motherly image. Two days ago, the former pageant contestant came forward and said, "I'm very surprised! In my 22-year career, this was the first time I graced tabloid covers!" while also stating her reasoning of not responding earlier was due to her busy schedule.

The 43-year-old had not expected such tale on herself to be published when she realised tabloid photographers capturing images of her. "We went to the same class. All the students get along very well. Brian's restaurant in the Central district is the place where we often gather together," she explained.

Rumours that she and Brian had entered the storage room together were also untrue; as claimed by the Macau-born actress. Showing little knowledge of Brian's Weibo blog post and allegations of flirtatious messages with the restaurateur, Noel had publicized that she will not end her friendship with Brian over some petty rumours.

"I'm a very warm person. In my 22-year career, I have never had this kind of rumour. I feel that linking arms and hugging are normal friendly behaviour, but you may feel surprised," said Noel adding that she had a healthy understanding with her husband, Gary Chan.... READ MORE
